Scott has been a healthcare bed sales and service provider for over 30 years, with experience in all care settings including delivering, renting, and warehousing. He brings deep expertise in manufacturing and rental companies like Equi-tron, KCI, Medic PRN, Global Medical, Carroll Healthcare, and Invacare. Scott leverages a large North American Network of relationships and suppliers to source service, products, and solutions. A strong believer in the importance of customer service and delivering on expectations, Scott empowers his employees to support that belief.

Customer service is our main focus at SFI. Shannon brings over 15 years of experience in the medical equipment industry. Having previously worked for Invacare in both Canada and the United States as a Customer Service and Department Trainer, Shannon has extensive experience writing and implementing service processes and procedures, and working with CRM systems from testing through to utilization. Shannon acts as a liaison between our clients, vendors, and SFI’s production team, ensuring the lines of communication remain open. Shannon is deeply committed to ensuring a successful outcome for every client we work with.
Rob Rush, Director of Technical ServicesRob has nearly 20 years of quality, manufacturing, technical, and logistics experience in Canadian and American healthcare. His extensive background in support services and diagnostics keeps him customer focused and working to provide positive and immediate solutions to problems at all acuity levels. Rob is the lead for all Health Canada/FDA Rail Compliance projects for meeting standards in patient entrapment and modernized bed system safety as a whole.
Jennifer Andrews, M.Sc., MBA, Senior Director of MarketingWith a health science background and over 10 years of experience as Marketing Director at a contract research organization, Jennifer specializes in business strategy, branding, and marketing to help life science companies grow. She brings additional experience working with health science clients through her business, FreshLeaf Marketing. She is also a business mentor through various accelerators across Southwestern Ontario. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in biology, a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in human health and nutrition, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
Jennifer brings over 20 years of experience as a Customer Service Administrator within the logistics and healthcare fields. She has a long history working directly with patients, being the main liaison with administrators at long-term care facilities and organizations including the Local Health Integration Network (LIHN). With a managerial background and leadership expertise, Jennifer is highly customer focused and always ready to provide exceptional help to all SFI’s customers.
With an engineering background in electronics and unmatched technical skills, Bibin is responsible for ensuring bed and entrapment safety through auditing and safe patient handling practices, as well as managing all billing, asset tracking, scheduling, preparing technical documents, and more. His proficiency in lift testing and dedication to accuracy at all costs provides our clients with peace of mind that equipment is safe and working seamlessly.
Melvin Mathew Philips, Junior TechnicianWell experienced in designing embedded systems and medical instruments, Melvin is a skilled service technician. His background in troubleshooting and servicing various process instruments make him valuable to the demand in service of medical equipment.
As the lead technician for all needs related to installation projects to safe patient handling, Brent has over 15 years of experience in the healthcare environment. Not only is he knowledgeable and highly skilled in all areas from plumbing to equipment maintenance, he is passionate about outcomes and committed to getting the job done to the highest degree of quality possible.
Sebastien is the newest addition to our team, having worked with SFI on contract previously. His fluency in French is an asset when in the field and working with customers. Sebastien assists with planning and executing equipment deliveries, installations, and logistics to the high degree of accuracy needed in healthcare settings. He is looking forward to pursuing a career in policing and law enforcement.
